At the WWE, it’s not rare to see famous faces take their seat ringside.

Friday night’s SmackDown welcomed heavyweight British boxer Tyson Fury, who wasn’t content with just being an audience member

As an eight-man tag team match reached its finale, Braun Strowman, known as The Monster Among Men, taunted Fury by raising his fists with a devilish grin.

Not one to shy away, The Gypsy King took to his feet and faced off with Strowman before hurdling the barricade when the wrestler’s team were declared the victors.

Fury is now expected to take to the ring this Monday night on RAW to address Strowman in what promises to be an entertaining spectacle.

But, not only that, according to Mike Coppinger, Fury could actually have a match with WWE before he fights Deontay Wilder for a second time.

Known for his funny antics, Fury once burst into a press conference dressed as Batman, tackling The Joker in front of his opponent Wladimir Klitschko.

Still, should the Gypsy King choose to lock horns with Strowman, he won’t be the first boxer to do so.

Back in 2008, Floyd Mayweather Jr. went toe-to-toe with The Big Show in a No DQ match at WrestleMania XXIV.

After a swift brass knuckle blow to the skull of the 7-foot giant, it was Mayweather who took home the bragging rights.

It is thought that Fury’s appearance on the WWE is intended to promote his upcoming rematch with Deontay Wilder, which is set to take place early next year.

Billed as a blockbuster, their first clash was somewhat of a damp squib.

Last December, fans at the Staples Center in Los Angeles watched on as the spoils were shared between the two heavyweights. The bout ended in a split draw despite Fury landing a higher percentage of his punches.

We’ll now have to wait until Monday night to see if Fury opts for a career diversion, swapping the boxing ring for the WWE’s squared circle.
