What a time it is to be a Liverpool fan.

Jurgen Klopp's juggernaut side are on the brink of equalling the record for the most consecutive Premier League wins and are cruising comfortably at the top of the Premier League.

The Reds proved their title credentials once again on Saturday with a last-gasp win over top-four contenders Leicester City.

After Sadio Mane gave the Anfield side a first-half lead, they were pegged back by James Maddison before James Milner converted a spot-kick in stoppage time to snatch the three points.

It saw Liverpool extend the gap at the top - temporarily at least - to eight points as they mercilessly search for that first Premier League title.

While the dramatic late win saw the Reds keep their remarkable winning run in-tact, it also helped extend another incredible record for one of their main stars.

An astounding post started doing the rounds on social media late on Saturday pointing out that Liverpool have lost just one Premier League game at home while Mohamed Salah has been on the pitch.

Pretty impressive right?

Well, there's more - Salah was playing for Chelsea that day.

Incredible.

Salah has been unstoppable at times since signing from Roma in 2017 and played a massive part in Liverpool lifting their sixth European cup last season.

And, when he gets to turn it on in front of the Anfield faithful, the opposition really doesn't stand much of a chance.

However, the Egyptian maestro was forced off late-on v Leicester with a nasty looking ankle injury after an awful challenge from Hamza Choudhury.

Klopp will certainly be hoping that Salah can rest up during the upcoming international break so that he is in top shape to continue the hunt for the holy grail of domestic football.

It promises to be quite a battle.
