It has not been the sort of start to the season Tottenham Hotspur would have been hoping for.
After just eight games, Spurs are already 13 points behind Liverpool and have managed just one point from their two UEFA Champions League clashes.
One of those two fixtures was a humiliating 7-2 home loss to German giants Bayern Munich while their 3-0 drubbing at the hands of Brighton at the weekend will have done little to brighten the mood.
Storm clouds are gathering around Mauricio Pochettino with the Argentinean now favourite among some bookmakers to be the next Premier League manager to get the sack.
While Pochettino is unquestionably the finest manager Spurs have ever had, the London side seem to have gone backwards this season and he could be out of a job very soon.

Their apologetic performance against the Seagulls showed just how far they've fallen this season, and, if that wasn't enough, the sight of Harry Kane being mercilessly bullied by Lewis Dunk only compounded the gloom.
It was late in the game and, with Brighton cruising, Dunk and Kane got caught up in a royal rumble of their own, with the defender being shown a yellow card for his ruthless headlock.
Dunk was less than impressed with the decision though, claiming to the ref that it was Kane who started the fracas.
He just wasn't very polite in his suggestion.
In fact, Dunk appears to bellow, "He tried to rip my f****** penis off!" at the referee.
