With all the hype and excitement coming out of SmackDown's first episode on FOX this past Friday, you'd be forgiven for thinking nothing is happening in the world of WWE tonight.
That's because no matches were created on either Raw or SmackDown this past week for Hell In A Cell, which takes place in Sacramento, California this evening.
SmackDown ended on Friday with just three matches advertised for the event, with WWE choosing to showcase the likes of Tyson Fury and Cain Velasquez instead of creating more matches.
Of those three bouts, two are to be contested inside Hell In A Cell, with Seth Rollins defending his Universal Championship against 'The Fiend', who has been tormenting him for weeks.
And Becky Lynch and Sasha Banks will continue - and maybe end their feud inside the cell, with the Lasskicker's Raw Women's Championship on the line.
The only other match advertised was Roman Reigns and Daniel Bryan teaming together to face Erick Rowan and Luke Harper, and a fourth was added soon after SmackDown, with Bayley defending her SmackDown Women's Title against Charlotte Flair.
Fans have been questioning WWE's strategy all weekend for the event, but in typical fashion they've added four more matches just hours before the show begins.
Firstly we are getting two contests that we've seen on Monday Night Raw multiple times in recent weeks.
'King' Baron Corbin will take on Chad Gable once again, and Natalya and Lacey Evans will add the next chapter to their 'storied' rivalry against each other in Sacramento.
Also added is a Women's Tag Team Championship match, where Asuka and Kairi Sane challenge Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross for their prized possessions.
And finally, The O.C, which consists of AJ Styles, Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson, will take on the Viking Raiders and a mystery partner.
It would be wise to note that Braun Strowman has been teaming with Ivar and Erik at recent live events in the same match, so don't be surprised if that is what happens this evening.
The four added contests aren't anything too thrilling, but it fills out the card - with the two Cell matches the main attractions.News Now - Sport News
