Anthony Joshua got destroyed in a rap battle by Jarrell Miller in unaired 'Gloves Are Off' episode

On December 7, Anthony Joshua will jump back in the ring with Andy Ruiz Jr., the man who claimed all four of his heavyweight titles in June earlier this year.

Ahead of their 'The Gloves Are Off' episode, a seated face-off in a darkened room, AJ reminisced about an unreleased episode he took part in with Jarrell Miller.

Miller and Joshua were due to go toe-to-toe on June 1, but the American failed numerous drug tests ahead of fight night and the bout was called off.

As we know, due to Miller's ban, Andy Ruiz Jr. stepped in as a late replacement, and as they say, the rest is history.

The Gloves Are Off episode between Joshua and Miller was still shot, however, and it sounds like it would have been one to remember.

In a recent interview with Sky Sports Boxing, AJ reflected on previous episodes of the popular series he's done, and that brought up the Miller one that was sadly never aired.

Bored of the trash talk, Joshua began rapping. That decision, however, that would come back to bite him.

After he stumbled through his final bars, the British heavyweight found himself on the receiving end of a five-minute long lyrical slam. Miller took him apart.

"I’m so glad our fight fell through," Joshua joked, relieved the episode never saw the light of day.

Turning his focus to his rematch with Andy Ruiz Jr. on December 7, Joshua admits his opponent’s nice guy attitude makes for a complicated build-up.

"I don’t have any serious venom for him."

But, as AJ himself outlined, "the fight and the talk are two separate things."

He then continued: "There will be something in that Gloves Are Off that I can take away and use as fuel," determined to reclaim his titles and take vengeance against the only man to have beaten him in the ring.
