There's no denying it anymore, Tottenham Hotspur are in the midst of a serious crisis. The north London club have endured their worst ever week under Mauricio Pochettino's rule, following up a 7-2 loss against Bayern Munich with a 3-0 defeat away at Brighton.Ten goals conceded in two games? It simply isn't good enough for a club recognised as one of the Premier League's 'top six'.Pochettino is now one of the big favourites to be the next Premier League boss sacked, as there just seems to be no element of positivity coming from Spurs right now.Key players are hopelessly out of form, with three of them - Christian Eriksen, Jan Vertonghen and Toby Alderweireld - in the final year of their contracts.

And it seems a lot of the negativity on the pitch is being created in the club's training sessions.

A report from the Athletic details that the situation behind-the-scenes is at breaking point.

The squad feels untrusted, underpaid and overworked compared to their top-six rivals, with a club source saying: "The place is a regime and they're sick of him [Pochettino].

"It's his way or nothing, there is no balance. The players don't get the impression they are trusted at all."

Players reportedly bemoan the 'same old messages and sessions', while knowledge of Daniel Levy's £6m-per-year salary has only irritated the players further.

The chairman's wages has left the squad feeling underpaid and jealous - not exactly the atmosphere you need when results are turning sour.

But to top it all off, the players are even making light of Pochettino's seemingly negligent attitude towards training.

As reported by the Daily Mail, the Spurs squad have now nicknamed the Argentine manager 'Big Brother'.

Why you ask? Because he spends most of his time watching training sessions on the CCTV system rather than in the flesh.

Pochettino's become increasingly detached from his players and his mood swings have become commonplace.

After the Champions League final loss to Liverpool, the Argentine was said to be so angry that he flew to Barcelona, rather than travel back to London with the squad.

With so many issues behind-the-scenes, it's hard to see a way back for Pochettino and if he survives the season, it will be a minor miracle.
