The 2019/20 Premier League season is now well underway.

After eight games, we've now reached our second international break and supporters have a good idea of which players will be competing for the league or fighting relegation.

It has also given summer signings ample time to make an impression at their new club, either flying out of the blocks or proving that a change of scenery can take some adjustment.

Sebastien Haller, Daniel James, Rodri and Youri Tielemans are amongst the players to have shined the brightest but, for now, we're looking at the other end of the spectrum.

And we've decided to select the 10 most disappointing summer signings in the Premier League, so check out our full list and see whether they can turn things around before May.

1. Danny Drinkwater (Burnley)

After his disastrous move to Chelsea in 2017, things haven't been going much better for Drinkwater at Turf Moor and his only appearance has come in the shock Carabao Cup defeat to Sunderland.

2. Nicolas Pepe (Arsenal)

The Gunners' record signing is yet to score from open play, looked like a fish out of water against Manchester United and needs to starting justifying his £72 million price tag.

3. Moise Kean (Everton)

Signed from Juventus to great fanfare, the Italian youngster is yet to score in nine appearances and has largely been deployed from the bench as Everton slide further down the table.

4. Oli McBurnie (Sheffield United)

One goal in eight games is a disappointing return for a £17.5 million striker and McBurnie has largely been making headlines for a video of him criticising the Scotland setup.

5. Tom Heaton (Aston Villa)

This one feels harsh because Heaton is undoubtedly a quality goalkeeper, but the Englishman has statistically been Villa's worst player and has conceded 12 goals in eight games.

6. Pablo Fornals (West Ham United)

Speaking of players who are statistically their club's worst player, Fornals has made a stumbling start to life in the Premier League and is yet to make a goal contribution in 10 outings.

7. Joao Cancelo (Manchester City)

Just one Premier League start so far and it came during the 2-0 upset against Wolverhampton Wanderers, where Cancelo was at fault for Traore's opening goal. Need we say anymore?

8. Alex Iwobi (Everton)

Three starts, three appearances off the bench and one goal have made for a quiet start to life at Goodison Park for Iwobi, who can't be enjoying life in the relegation zone.

9. Che Adams (Southampton)

Adams to yet to prove that he's good enough for Premier League football and the decision to pay £15 million and hand him a five-year contract is hitherto looking pretty ham-fisted.

10. Christian Pulisic (Chelsea)

There's an Eden Hazard-shaped hole at Stamford Bridge right now and Pulisic has filled just one per cent of it at best. The American hasn't started in the Premier League since August.
