Phil Foden is regarded as one of the most promising teenagers in world football.
"I have said many times in press conferences, but maybe not said it in front of him, Phil is the most, most, most talented player I have ever seen in my career as a manager," he said back in July.
That's very high praise, considering Guardiola has worked with the likes of Lionel Messi, Andreas Iniesta and Arjen Robben, to name a few.
On top of calling Foden the most talented player he's ever seen, the City boss has made another big claim this week.

Speaking during the international break, which has seen the youngster link up with England's under-21s, Guardiola has said that Foden is the only player the Premier League champions can't sell.
"We didn’t give Foden a new contract by accident," the manager said, per The Sun.
"He is the only player that can’t be sold under any circumstances - the only one. Not even for 500m euros.
"Phil’s going nowhere - Phil IS City. We won’t be signing anyone else for that position. When David Silva leaves, we know exactly who our new magician will be."
Again, that's ridiculously high praise from Guardiola. But is it yet another empty promise?
Foden is still 19, but he needs to be playing regular football to fulfil his potential.
So far this season, he's played just four times - and three of those appearances have come from the bench.
With just one start under his belt in 2019/20, Foden could soon be assessing his options if his playing time doesn't improve.
Of course, Man City have a team full of international stars and perhaps it makes sense for Guardiola to save him until Silva leaves.
But if he's not careful, the Spanish manager may well lose his most prized possession.News Now - Sport News
