It's impossible not to like Liverpool's Virgil van Dijk. Not only is the Dutchman the best defender in the world right now, but he's a born leader and a genuinely nice bloke.Signed from Southampton in 2018, Van Dijk has made his £75m transfer fee look like an absolute bargain with his performances. It's no exaggeration that he's single-handedly transformed Liverpool from a top-four side in the Premier League to Champions League winners. And the best could be yet to come.Jurgen Klopp's side are currently top of the Premier League with a 100% record after eight games. Manchester City are second and already eight points behind. No one would bet against Liverpool winning the title right now and as long as Van Dijk keeps up his world-class form in defence, it's hard to look past them.In Van Dijk they have the perfect centre-back and he once again gave Liverpool fans a reason to smile on Thursday.Liverpool uploaded a video of the 28-year-old getting grilled by a bunch of eight year olds, with questions involving what he's scared of and whether he's the best defender in the world.Van Dijk managed to keep his cool, but the funniest moment was when he realised one of the children was actually an Everton fan.In the video below at 1:28, Van Dijk asks one of the kids if he was happy for Liverpool when they won the Champions League, to which he says "no".It was then that Van Dijk found out: "You support Everton? Tough isn't it? Must be very tough."And at the end of the video, when Van Dijk says goodbye to the kids, he says to the young Evertonian: "Good luck. It's going to be a tough year for you."

See, you just can't not like Van Dijk!

And he's certainly not wrong about Everton, who are currently 18th in the Premier League having lost five of their opening eight games. Oh dear.
