WWE's Draft gets underway on Friday Night SmackDown this week and in preparation, WWE has released a draft pool to revealed exactly when superstars can be drafted.

The 2019 WWE Draft will begin tonight on SmackDown on Fox, and both SmackDown and Monday Night Raw will be selecting superstars for their respective brands.

WWE has released pools and rules for the draft in order to clarify and give fans an insight as to what's to come on SmackDown and Raw over the next few days.

The rules state that more than seventy superstars, including tag teams, have been placed into this year’s draft pool. SmackDown will pick 30 superstars, while Raw will pick 41 superstars.

For every two SmackDown picks, Raw will get three (since Friday Night SmackDown is a two-hour show and Monday Night Raw is a three-hour show), and tag teams will count as one pick unless Fox or USA Network specifically wants to pick one superstar from the team.

Finally, any undrafted superstars will immediately be declared free agents and able to sign with the brand of their choosing.

The preliminary draft pools have been released as well to determine and designate which WWE superstars are available for selection each night.

Several Fox (SmackDown) and NBC (Raw) celebrities are expected to make appearances through the draft process as well.

It has been reported that Paul Heyman has been fighting for Bray Wyatt to stay on Raw, and for Aleister Black to join the brand.

On the flip side, Fox officials are said to be high on Roman Reigns and Charlotte Flair being a part of SmackDown.

It will be interesting to see if any of the undrafted superstars decide to go to NXT once they are free agents instead of signing with either Raw or SmackDown.

Fans will be hoping the draft ushers in a new era in WWE and bring an end to the Wild Card rule, allowing superstars that have been buried on the roster for the past few months an opportunity to shine once more.
