Details of Sasha Banks' injury from last weekend's Hell in a Cell show have now been released.

Sasha Banks faced Becky Lynch in a terrific Hell in a Cell match last Sunday at Hell in a Cell for the Raw Women's Championship.

The Boss was unable to win the title on the night, but she produced a fantastic performance with The Man inside Hell in a Cell.

Reports emerged the next day stating she had picked up a possible back injury during that match and wasn't cleared for Monday Night Raw. Details of her injury have been kept quiet for the past few days.

However, PWInsider has reported that Banks actually suffered a tailbone injury during her match with Lynch at Hell in a Cell, which is why she has been removed from active competition.

PWInsider added that there is no word yet on a timetable for her return. Fingers crossed she is able to return to the ring soon as she's been one of the highlights of the women's division in WWE in recent months.

The Boss will likely still be drafted tonight when this year's WWE Draft kicks off on Friday Night SmackDown.

She is one of the 30 superstars which will be available for selection in the WWE Draft on SmackDown. On Raw on Monday night, another 41 superstars will be available for selection.

Fox officials reportedly want Charlotte Flair on SmackDown, while Lynch is still Raw Women's Champion and doesn't look like she will be losing the title anytime soon.

However, there haven't been any rumours on which brand Banks will find herself competing on come this time next week.

Since making the move from NXT to the main roster in 2015, the only women's title which The Boss hasn't won in the WWE is the SmackDown Women's Championship.

Having Flair and Banks feud over the SmackDown Women's title would make for a compelling feud for Fox, but there's no guarantee she will be on the blue brand show.
