Despite Becky Lynch's continuing popularity and the return of Sasha Banks in recent months, there still seems to be something missing from the women's division.

Maybe it's a certain UFC Hall of Famer who took her first 12 months as a WWE superstar by storm?

Ever since Ronda Rousey debuted at WrestleMania 34 alongside Kurt Angle, you could tell she was born to be in WWE.

She picked up the basics exceptionally quickly, and in just her debut match she looked like she belonged with the best of them, and even got the better of the legendary Triple H.

What followed was a dominant crusade through the female locker room, defeating the likes of Nia Jax, Alexa Bliss, Nikki Bella, and even Banks at the Royal Rumble.

When one person is so dominant in a division, fans will often turn on them as they want something different and fresh, and that's what happened to Rousey earlier this year. So what did she do? Turn heel in epic fashion.

There's no doubting Ronda pulls off being a badass heel better than being a babyface, but to tell the truth we didn't get to see that side to her for very long at all.

That's because after she was defeated by Lynch at WrestleMania 35 in New York, Rousey disappeared from WWE television, and she announced on her Instagram account that she was going on an 'impregnation vacation' - whatever one of those is.

Rousey actually returned to our screens last week on Total Divas, but scenes were filmed months and months ago, and no-one has really heard about the current status of 'Rowdy' since.

Triple H has given an update on her situation though, and it looks like she may be back in the near future.

In a media scrum following the Crown Jewel press conference in Las Vegas earlier today, The Game told the press that he guesses Rousey will be back 'sooner rather than later', although no timetable has been set for her return, per Ryan McKinnell.

Rousey will add some fire to the women's division if she returns with her heel character, and you can even start a storyline where both Raw and SmackDown fight for her services.

But with SmackDown now looking like it's the 'A show' in WWE, you'd think that FOX and their past connections with UFC would win the battle to land Rousey.
