Cristiano Ronaldo was up to his usual tricks again on Friday after a typically merciless performance v Luxembourg.

Ronaldo simply can't stop scoring at the moment, whether he is playing for his club or for his country.

For decades now the Portuguese has been setting the football world alight with his unreal skill and brutal finishing prowess.

At 34, he still finds new ways to take our breath away and last night was no different.

Captaining his national side in their Euro 2020 qualifying game v Luxembourg, Ronaldo nipped the ball off the defender before roaring towards goal.

However, what followed was not his usual smashing, net-busting finish but a sublime chip that floated sumptuously into the goal.

The goalkeeper came flying off his line but Ronaldo was unfazed, lobbing the ball comfortably over his head without breaking stride.

He then peeled away and lead 50 000 fans in his trademark 'Siuu' celebration.

After that cheeky finish, one Ronaldo fan took it upon himself to compile a video of Ronaldo's best chip finishes, and boy are we grateful he did.

Brilliant - he makes it look so easy.

While Ronaldo is known for his thunderous finishes and towering headers, we often forget his subtle side which can be absolutely unplayable at times.

The 34-year-old will be desperate to help club side Juventus end their painful European drought this season and claim an unprecedented sixth Champions League winners medal.

With the kind of form he is showing in front of goal, you simply can't put it past him.
