Cristiano Ronaldo is just one goal away from 700 career strikes after he scored for Portugal against Luxembourg on Friday night.

It was his 94th goal for his country as he edges towards an incredible milestone.

He’s still got a little way to go if he wants to beat Josef Bican’s record of 805 goals, though.

But with Ronaldo showing no signs of slowing down at the age of 34, you certainly wouldn’t put it past him.

In terms of active players, however, Ronaldo reigns supreme.

When you take into account goals scored at international youth level, Ronaldo has now scored 717.

And there are nine other active players who have notched more than 400 goals during their career.

Who are they? We hear you ask…
