The WWE Draft threw up some surprising moves, none more-so than Bray Wyatt's move to Friday Night SmackDown.

Paul Heyman, the Executive Director of Monday Night Raw, was apparently very keen on securing the services of Wyatt and 'The Fiend', but he had to lose out to FOX.

Not every superstar was eligible on Friday night, with the likes of Brock Lesnar, Seth Rollins and many more up for selection on Raw tomorrow night.

In an interesting move though, several unselected superstars from the first draft pool were made 'free agents', and they were free to be picked up by either brand.

Included in that group were the likes of EC3, Eric Young and the pairing of Curtis Axel and Bo Dallas, all superstars who have been used sporadically in recent times on WWE television.

But the most surprising name to feature in that group is the multi-time Tag Team Champion and U.S. Champion Cesaro.

The Swiss Cyborg, despite being one of the best wrestlers in WWE, has not been used well at all on the main roster recently.

He hasn't won a match on Raw or SmackDown since a July 8 victory over No Way Jose, and last week he was KO'd by Tyson Fury after Raw went off the air.

And in news released by WWE earlier today, Cesaro hasn't even been picked up by either brand in free agency.

Young, EC3 and Sin Cara have all been snapped up by Raw, whilst Apollo Crews, Drew Gulak, Tamina, Heath Slater, Axel and Dallas have all joined the blue brand.

So what does this mean for Cesaro?

The most obvious solution would be to have him go to NXT, where he had a short run between October 2013 and February 2014, his most notable feud being with Sami Zayn.

Now that NXT is on the USA Network though, there would be no harm in sending a man of Cesaro's stature, despite how he's been booked recently, to Full Sail for either a short spell or for good.

If Vince McMahon isn't going to use him correctly, then Triple H will, and maybe he can be reborn under the NXT banner.
