Leeds United celebrate 100 years of history this week.

They are one of England's most iconic clubs but have struggled in more recent years.

Although the Whites are often Premier League promotion candidates, they continue to fall excruciatingly short and haven't played top-flight football since 2004.

But all that could change very soon, with owner Andrea Radrizzani revealing he's considering three offers to add investment to the club.

The most exciting one is from Qatar Sports Investment and PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi and Radrizzani believes a deal could do more than just propel Leeds back into the Premier League.

"I have been approached by more than 20 parties and I have selected these three," he told The Times.

"The option of Qatar Sports Investment and Nasser - first of all they are friends, we have had a good relationship for a long time.

"Secondly, they have the possibility to bring this club to compete with Manchester City, so for the fans that could be a fantastic opportunity.

"The second is based in America, he's a big fan of Leeds United since he was a child, and I like that. Another one is the owner of an Italian club.

"With another club you can create synergy to be more competitive and to target the Premier League - we could maybe get a loan to increase the quality of the team."

Radrizzani's suggestion that investment from QSI could allow Leeds to 'compete with Manchester City' will seriously excite fans.

Back in April 2019, reports in France suggested that PSG's owners were in fact looking to acquire an English club and Leeds were one of the names in the conversation.

If it does happen, Pep Guardiola and City better start looking over their shoulders.
