The Premier League finally revealed their fixtures for the festive period.

With Amazon Prime having the rights for numerous fixtures in December, the announcement was highly anticipated.

Fans can now make travel arrangements and inform family and friends that they’re unable to attend various festivities due to football.

But for those of us that aren’t lucky enough to be able to attend every match, we’re being treated by the television companies.

We’ve already explained how we’re in for an absolute treat on Boxing Day with four back-to-back matches on Amazon Prime.

But perhaps the better day to sit on your sofa and watch football for 10 hours in New Year’s Day,

BT Sport are showing all nine matches live and are staggered over four kick-off times.

Here’s how the line-up looks:

12:30 Brighton v Chelsea - LIVE ON BT SPORT
12:30 Burnley v Aston Villa - LIVE ON BT SPORT

15:00 Newcastle v Leicester - LIVE ON BT SPORT
15:00 Southampton v Spurs - LIVE ON BT SPORT
15:00 Watford v Wolves - LIVE ON BT SPORT

17:30 Man City v Everton - LIVE ON BT SPORT
17:30 Norwich v Crystal Palace - LIVE ON BT SPORT
17:30 West Ham v AFC Bournemouth - LIVE ON BT SPORT

20:00 Arsenal v Man Utd - LIVE ON BT SPORT

TAKE. YOUR. PICK.

Not bad, eh?

The majority of us will be hungover after our New Years’ Eve celebrations. So why not have a lazy day watching four live Premier League matches? Or if you've got multiple TVs or devices, watching all NINE.

Get the headache tablets, order some hungover food and get your mates round.

New Year’s Day is reserved for football.
