The UFC have some stacked cards coming up, and the final big pay-per-view card of the year will take place in Las Vegas on December 14.
Amanda Nunes will put her bantamweight belt on the line against Germaine de Randamie, Alexander Volkanovski will challenge Max Holloway for his featherweight title, and Colby Covington will finally get a chance to win the welterweight championship outright.
Covington was interim champion in 2018 after defeating Rafael dos Anjos, but he was stripped of it after undergoing nasal surgery, which meant Tyron Woodley v Darren Till was made for the title instead.
He will face a man in Kamaru Usman who systematically took apart Woodley in five long rounds back in March, but Covington, who is on a seven-fight win streak, will obviously be confident that he is the man to take the Nigerian down.
Speaking of Covington, the man is quite famously outspoken, and 'Chaos' has now thrown shots at Dana White, even though their 'feud' was reportedly settled earlier this yeah whilst the two played Blackjack in Vegas.

- Khabib to defend title v Ferguson in early 2020
- Adesanya stays undefeated by KOing Whittaker
White claimed a few weeks ago that Covington was ducking Usman as he apparently turned down a title shot, but just a week later the bout was made official.
Covington fired back and said it was the fault of 'fake news' Usman who didn't want the fight, and he told White to get 'checked up for CTE' [chronic traumatic encephalopathy] because he was 'telling lies'.
Chaos though went one further by seemingly threatening the UFC President if he dared to put the title round his waist, should he defeat Usman in December.
“I can tell you who’s not wrapping it around my waist, and that will not be Dana White,” Covington told Submission Radio, per MMA Mania.
“If he tries to wrap it around my waist, I’m gonna take the belt from him and slap him in the face with it.
"What’s great about this is, this is an opportunity for me to just really shove this up the UFC’s a** and say, f**k you guys, I don’t give a f**k about you guys, now you have to come to me.
"So, you’re gonna be calling me after December 14th begging to get me back in there.”
It's probably not a good look for Covington to be threatening one of the most important men in the business.
Then again, if push comes to shove, he's likely not going to do anything - but it'll be an interesting flash-point to watch out for should he dethrone Usman.News Now - Sport News
