Everton managed to snap their poor form in a 2-0 victory against West Ham on Saturday afternoon.Bernard gave the home side the lead after just 17 minutes - and what a goal it was.The Brazilian forward slalomed his way past three opposition players in the box before finishing past Roberto from a tight angle. The Toffees were the dominant side for the rest of the match and finally clinched all three points in stoppage time through Gylfi Sigurdsson. And the Icelandic midfielder actually managed to outdo Bernard's goal.

Sigurdsson picked the ball up 25 yards out and found himself under pressure from Jack Wilshere.

But he made light work of the Englishman.

The Everton midfielder feigned a shot and that fooled Wilshere completely, who went flying.

Sigurdsson then composed himself and rocketed his effort into the top corner.

Watch it below:

What a goal. And one that Wilshere won't want to watch back, that's for sure.

Wilshere was once regarded as one of the brightest talents in England while a youngster at Arsenal.

However, injuries have disrupted his career massively and he looks a shadow of the player he once was.

He's had a torrid time since joining West Ham in 2018. He played just eight times in his first campaign with the club and has only played 174 Premier League minutes this season.

At 27 years old, time is running out for him to rediscover the form and fitness that once saw him as England's brightest prospect.

As for Sigurdsson, that was just his second goal in what has been a disappointing campaign so far.

But his goal has helped his side move up to 12th in league with 10 points from their opening nine games.

West Ham stay in 8th, with 12 points from their nine games.
