Liverpool came away from Old Trafford disappointed despite a late equaliser against Manchester United. The Reds' perfect start to the season came to an end after Adam Lallana could only cancel out Marcus Rashford's controversial opener.Victor Lindelof looked to have fouled Divock Origi in the build-up, while VAR also ruled out Sadio Mane's first-half strike for a handball. All in all, it's safe to say Liverpool fans headed back across the north-west in a state of fury with the officials. They had arrived hoping for what would have been a record-equalling 18th successive league win.

Jurgen Klopp's side will have felt confident of securing just that against a United side who have won just twice in nine league games this season.

It ultimately fell to Lallana to spare their blushes - though he had a helping hand from Naby Keita.

The 24-year-old has been confined to a bit-part role this season, playing just eight minutes of Premier League football.

Yet at Old Trafford, Jordan Henderson's sub-par display finally handed him his chance to impress.

Keita came on with just eight minutes of normal time remaining and with Liverpool trailing.

The Guinea international set the pace in midfield, upped the tempo and swung the game back in his side's favour.

Check out his highlights reel below:

The midfielder made 22 passes in that short spell. To put that in perspective, Henderson made 26 in the 71 minutes he was on the field.

His cameo will no doubt give Klopp some serious thinking to do ahead of their return to Champions League action in midweek, before Tottenham Hotspur visit Anfield next Sunday.

Liverpool still lead Manchester City by six points at the top of the table, but their performances haven't been as flawless as results might suggest in the last few weeks.

A draw with United might well serve as the catalyst as they look to get back on track, starting against Genk.

Keita's sub appearance was short, but he could have done enough to earn a start.
