Jake, brother of Logan, Paul has been linked with potential fights against a number of sporting and internet personalities over the past few months.

It is Logan, however, that has a Sky Sports Box Office fight against fellow YouTuber KSI on November 9, at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

Despite this, Jake has been stirring up controversy after being heavily linked with a fight involving Conor McGregor’s teammate and close friend Dillon Danis.

Danis was brought to the public eye back in 2018 after a flurry of punches were thrown between himself and Khabib Nurmagomedov, following the Russian’s victory over McGregor at UFC 229.

The 26-year-old American is a respected fighter himself, known for his Jiu Jitsu skills, which have earnt an unbeaten record of 2-0 in the Bellator MMA division.

After many back and forth tweets, Danis has now revealed he’s been offered a total of £4 million to take the boxing fight against the internet sensation.

Danis said, as per The Mirror: "He called me out like he wanted to fight me and this and that and I was kind of like, 'Whatever, I’m not going to fight a YouTuber'.

"And then the money came in to part and I was like ‘Maybe I’ll just shut this motherf***er up’.

"So I've been thinking about it lately and I’m down to do it, they’re offering me $4-$5m for a boxing fight against some p**** that can’t even defend himself.”

The potential fight between Jake Paul and Dillon Danis won’t be appearing on the undercard of the fight on November 9, however, Eddie Hearn has made it clear that YouTuber boxing fights could become even more common in the future.

Despite the mixed opinions about YouTubers fighting on professional cards, the publicity and money surrounding the events make them impossible to ignore.

It's being widely touted that another fight of the same calibre could be added to the Andy Ruiz Jr/Anthony Joshua undercard in December.
