What a signing Fabinho has been for Liverpool. The Reds were in desperate need of a defensive midfielder in the summer of 2018.Jurgen Klopp eventually decided to sign the Brazilian for £36m from Monaco.Initially, it was a slow start for the 26-year-old as he found himself on the bench more often than not in his opening months at the club. But he eventually became a permanent fixture in the side and was pivotal in their Champions League triumph in May.

His form since joining Liverpool has led to many claiming he is the best player in the world in his position, including Gary Neville.

"I think Fabinho at the moment is the best (defensive midfielder out there)," Neville said last month, per the Mirror.

"Because what Fabinho does, actually, is he doesn't sit back in games.

"There are holding midfield players who just play horizontally, pass sideways, and they always shift this way and that way like they're shuttling across.

"Fabinho plays vertically as well. He goes forward with his passes, he moves forward and steps in and wins the ball back."

Fabinho has become a fan-favourite at Liverpool and has earned a reputation for being a bit of a hard man in midfield.

And now a brilliant video is being widely shared on Twitter of Fabinho 'dominating his opponents'.

The two-minute video includes the former Monaco player producing incredible tackles to dispossess Eden Hazard and Lionel Messi, while also shouting at Luis Suarez on the floor.

As @JamieHolme says: 'This is better than any skills compilation video....'

The video was made before Liverpool's trip to Manchester United on the weekend.

But Fabinho recorded a clip that could have been added to the video - when he left Daniel James on the floor with a crunching challenge.

James became the latest to be on the other end of a tough challenge from Fabinho. But he definitely won't be the last.
