Manchester United are one of the world's most famous football clubs.

They are so big, in fact, that Old Trafford is nicknamed 'the Theatre of Dreams'.

It's hard to argue with that title, considering we've seen the likes of Eric Cantona, David Beckham, Wayne Rooney and Cristiano Ronaldo all strut their stuff on United's home turf.

But more recently, the Theatre of Dreams has turned somewhat into a Theatre of Nightmares.

Last season was a serious low one for the club. Jose Mourinho was sacked in December 2018 after making a dreadful start to that campaign and he was replaced by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

The United legend made a very impressive start to life in the dugout, but performances soon slipped again at the tail end of 2018/19.

It's fair to say things haven't got much better recently either. Solskjaer's side have started the current season poorly and sit 14th in the Premier League after nine games.

They are just two points above the relegation zone.

Right now, United aren't playing at their peak and work needs to be done to get Old Trafford its famous nickname back.

But despite all that, the Manchester club have come up with a bizarre new addition to their stadium.

In partnership with Marriott, United have installed the 'Seat of Dreams' inside the 'Theatre of Dreams'. Check it out:

Very strange, right?

"Man United and Marriott have unveiled the 'Seat of Dreams' – a new concept that will be launched at the club’s Old Trafford stadium," a tweet from Front Office Sports read.

"The new addition at the Theatre of Dreams will be awarded to four fans at random through a complimentary upgrade to their existing match ticket."

It's certainly an interesting concept and will be pretty cool for the winning fans to try. But right now, United should be concentrating on making improvements on the pitch, not off of it.
