WWE are always looking to add to their roster, despite it being more loaded than ever.

Several stars are struggling to get regular television time, and that's even with the brand split coming back into effect as recent as last week.

And the impending return of John Morrison hasn't even been factored into the equation, although we don't know what brand he will be appearing on, whether that be Raw, SmackDown or even NXT [when he does return, despite denying that he's signed].

So who could be next to return to the big leagues of WWE? Well it may just be a certain apple-spitting Puerto Rican.

Savio Vega, who competed in WWE between 1993 and 1999, told Hannibal TV that WWE have made advances to bring Carlito back to our screens, and he's urged him to take their offer.

“They [WWE] tried to get Carlito back, I talked to him last week," Vega said, per PW Mania.

"I said, ‘Brother, just go up there and get a contract. Get whatever money it gets higher every year or whatever. Because you’re not gonna make that kinda money on the street.

"Make some money, live okay, it’s good. If you have the opportunity then do it.'"

Carlito debuted on SmackDown in 2004, under the name Carlito Carribean Cool, and won the United States Championship from John Cena on his first night.

After just a year he was in the main event picture on Raw, vying for Cena's WWE Championship whilst pairing up with Chris Masters, but that alliance ended in 2006 and he became a babyface, and also a womaniser who had relationships with the likes of Trish Stratus and Torrie Wilson.

In his later WWE career, Carlito tagged with his brother Primo and in 2010 he was released by WWE after refusing to go to rehab for painkiller addiction, having violated the Wellness Policy.

It's been nine years now since we've seen Carlito in a WWE ring, but now 40 years of age, a return to the company could be the last big pay check he makes if he is indeed offered it.
