Morgan, who plays for Orlando Pride, made no comment of her place in Team USA come the 2020 Tokyo Olympics which officially begin on 24 July. Baby Morgan is due just three months before the USA are scheduled to compete, and it's difficult to imagine a line-up, not including one of the world's most influential female players.

In 169 appearances for her country, Morgan has scored 107 times, winning the Women's World Cup in 2015 and 2019. She was named in the FIFPro World XI in 2016, 2017 and 2019, as well as claiming the Women's Champions League in 2017, while on loan with Lyon.

"Already in love" with their upcoming arrival, the couple has received thousands of messages of congratulations, including several of Morgan's teammates.
