The build to Crown Jewel continued on SmackDown Live as the WWE roster heads to Saudi Arabia in less than a week. There was no more confrontation between Tyson Fury and Braun Strowman before their big match, with the Gypsy King undergoing a press junket back in the UK for Crown Jewel - which GiveMeSport attended and we will have an exclusive interview later in the week.We did though see an on-screen appearance from Brock Lesnar, who was advertised for a face-to-face with Cain Velasquez. The two will fight at Crown Jewel for Lesnar's WWE Championship, nine years after the Beast Incarnate was taken apart by Velasquez in UFC.Perhaps smartly though, the face-to-face never took place. Instead, Lesnar stayed backstage with Paul Heyman, with his mouthpiece stating that he had 'better things to do'.

The camera then panned down to a motionless Dominick, the son of Rey Mysterio, who Lesnar had clearly battered again, which saw Rey and Cain retreat backstage.

After the commercial break, Dominick was being tented to by a WWE medic supported by his father and Velasquez - only for Lesnar to enter the room armed with a trash can.

He first slammed it off the back of Rey Mysterio before dropping Velasquez in the same manner, and then he ruthlessly F5'd Rey off a wall.

Velasquez then suffered the same fate from Lesnar's deadly move - only his landing point was Dominick, and not a wall.

Many don't enjoy Lesnar's part-time schedule, but when he's being as brutal and legit as they, it kind of compensates for it.

It's very, very unlikely that he loses to Velasquez in Riyadh this coming Thursday, but stranger things have happened in the world of sports entertainment.

We just hope out of all this though that poor Dominick Mysterio is okay.

The 22-year-old [yes, he's not a teenager despite what Jerry Lawler said] has been brutalised twice now by Lesnar as an innocent bystander - but it won't put him off becoming a WWE superstar.
