Christian Pulisic has finally opened his Chelsea goal-scoring account.
There was great expectations surrounding the American who, after originally signing in January for €64 million, arrived at Stamford Bridge in the summer.
But despite wracking up a promising amount of assists in the opening games of the season, Pulisic had fallen out of favour recently and Frank Lampard had largely kept him on the bench.
That wasn't the case against Burnley, though, and it didn't take long for Pulisic to vindicate the decision.
Although he was absolutely gifted possession virtue of an error from Matthew Lowton, the 21-year-old still had so much to do from just shy of the halfway line.

First Chelsea goals for Pulisic
No problem for Pulisic, though. He sprinted his way towards the penalty area and showed his immense talent with a cheeky step-over as the Burnley defence caught up with him.
And his finishing, which has previously been an area of criticism, was absolutely on point at Turf Moor.
He screwed the ball into the bottom corner and beyond the reach of Nick Pope on his weaker left foot. Check out the video down below:
And it got even better for Pulisic just before half-time, doubling his tally for Chelsea with another fine individual effort. It might have benefitted from a deflection, but 'Captain America' needn't worry.
Eden Hazard, who? Chelsea fans will be hoping these are the first of many.
Catalyst for Pulisic?
But make no mistake that consistency is the key here. Pulisic was never a prolific goal-scoring at Borussia Dortmund and will need to find the net on a more regular basis in England.
It's still early days and Chelsea supporters are under no illusion that Pulisic is the finished article. Rather, his dazzling footwork at Burnley is just a sign of things to come.News Now - Sport News
