FIFA announced their award for the best goalkeeper in the world last month, with Alisson Becker winning. The Liverpool man certainly enjoyed a brilliant season as he won the Champions League with his club before winning the Copa America with Brazil in the summer.Alisson's performances were enough to see off the competition of Barcelona's Marc-Andre Ter Stegen, who had another great year in Spain.Third was Ederson, the Manchester City goalkeeper who helped them to the Premier League title once again. But one name is conspicuous from the list - Jan Oblak.

The Atletico Madrid goalkeeper didn't make the top three and, quite remarkably, never has despite years of great form.

And the Slovenian offered a reminder of just how good he is on Saturday, just as everyone seems to have forgotten.

Oblak pulled off a brilliant save to keep out a looping header from Inigo Martinez in just the second minute.

You can check it out below:

It helps to maintain a sensational record that Oblak has, brought to light by Opta.

The 26-year-old has saved 18 of his last 19 shots on target, only being beaten by a Dani Parejo free-kick against Valencia.

And the thing is, it's the kind of record you'd only expect from Oblak as no one else really comes close to him.

He's won the Zamora Trophy for the most clean-sheets in La Liga four years in a row, as well as awards for Best Goalkeeper in La Liga over the same period.

It makes you wonder how Oblak has never been recognised as anything like the best in the world - because there's a good chance he is the best around right now.
