Unai Emery versus Mesut Ozil has quickly become the new Jose Mourinho versus Paul Pogba this season.Arsenal's German playmaker has firmly fallen out of favour under Emery in a seemingly never-ending power struggle at the Emirates.Ozil was most recently left out of the match day squad for the Gunners' Europa League group stage tie against Vitoria. It was an unsurprising decision by Emery after Ozil's social media activity in the build-up to the game. With rumours of him not making the squad rife, the German tweeted out a picture of himself laughing with the caption: "You make me laugh."

Whether it was aimed at Emery is still unknown, but it seems to appropriate to the situation to simply be a coincidence.

All in all, it's not been a great season for Ozil and it seems even EA Sports are taking shots at him right now.

When promoting the German's new 'Scream card' for FIFA 20's Halloween promotion, Ozil was labelled as a 'ghost'.

As expected, it had fans in stitches and we've provided some of the best replies below.

EA SPORTS CALL OZIL A GHOST

Savage stuff from EA Sports.

The new card handed to Ozil is actually a bit of a beast and it is available through FIFA 20's weekly objectives.

A playmaker with 82 pace, 82 shooting and some unreal passing stats? Not bad at all.

Ozil's base rating on FIFA 20 Ultimate Team is a measly 84, his lowest since the start of FIFA 11 when he had just arrived at Real Madrid.

Back on FIFA 17, the German maverick was one of the finest on the game with a muscular rating of 89.

But it's been all downhill ever since and he now looks all but certain to be booted out of Arsenal in one of the next two transfer windows.

He was Arsene Wenger's main man, but he's now the Gunners' forgotten man under Emery.
