Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was verbally abused by Arsenal fans after Crystal Palace draw

Arsenal FC v Crystal Palace - Premier League

A lot of Arsenal fans lost patience with their side following their draw against Crystal Palace on the weekend.

The Gunners raced in to a 2-0 lead after just 10 minutes, with David Luiz and Sokratis both on the scoresheet.

But they capitulated in the second half and eventually drew 2-2.

While a lot of Arsenal's players have underperformed this season, Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang is certainly not one of them.

The Gabonese striker has bailed his side out on numerous occasions already this campaign.

He's already notched eight goals in 11 games. He's been the best player at the club and without him Arsenal would be in a lot worse position.

However, his good work this season has not been fully appreciated by Arsenal fans.

That's because a video has emerged appearing to show him being verbally abused while he was waiting at traffic lights in his Lamborghini following the Crystal Palace game.

One man walks past and calls him an 'Arsenal w*****'.

He's also told to 'f*** off' and called a 'tosser' as he drives away.

Watch the footage below:

Absolutely disgraceful. Abusing language like this towards players is not acceptable anyway.

But to verbally abuse Aubameyang, who has been so good since signing for the club in January 2017, is ridiculous.

Of course, Aubameyang isn't the only Arsenal player who has been verbally abused by his own fans recently.

Granit Xhaka, the club captain, was jeered as he was subbed off on Sunday.

Xhaka responded by telling his critics to 'f*** off'. He has since refused to apologise for his behaviour, despite Unai Emery instructing to do so.

The Gunners are in a real crisis. Emery needs to resolve the situation and fast.
