UFC and fight fans will be looking ahead to this weekend with great anticipation, as Jorge Masvidal will take on Nate Diaz in arguably one of the biggest fights of the year.

To increase the status of the incredible super-fight, the winner will receive the BMF belt from none other than former WWE wrestler, and now global superstar, Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson.

Jorge Masvidal, who is a Miami native, reached out to The Rock on Twitter and asked the actor to present him with the title belt should he win, going on to describe it as 'super necessary'.

Without hesitation, Johnson responded to Masvidal by saying 'consider it done'.

Furthermore, The Rock went on to describe the showdown as 'one of the biggest and electrifying nights in UFC history'.

Discussing the BMF title belt, Johnson said: "This addition to the company and the brand and to the sport, this BMF belt, I think it's brilliant," he told ESPN.

"It's so smart and it's just fun, man. That place is gonna be rocking, it's gonna be electrifying. I can't wait to get in there, man."

The BMF belt, standing for the 'Bad Mother F****r', has allegedly cost the UFC $50,000 in promotions and this will be just a one-off event, where there will be no follow up title defences.

Nevertheless, the mastermind behind the BMF belt initially came from Conor McGregor, according to the man himself.

"I designed that 'Bad Mother F****r' belt," McGregor told MMA Junkie

"I actually designed that. I signed off on the design of how they are creating that belt. So most certainly that belt was brought into fruition, brought to life because of me: the real Bad Mother F****r. So most certainly one of those men is on my radar."

Regardless of McGregor's comments stating he wanted to take on either of the two, both Masvidal and Diaz will have their attention focused towards Saturday night at Madison Square Garden.
