WWE superstars in Saudi Arabia for Crown Jewel are reportedly in danger of missing tonight's SmackDown as their flights out of the country are delayed, according to reports.
Crown Jewel's main event saw 'The Fiend' Bray Wyatt surprisingly defeat Seth Rollins for the Universal Championship in a Falls Count Anywhere match.
Once the match had finished and the event went off the air, WWE superstars scheduled for Friday Night SmackDown began travelling back to the USA to Buffalo for the show later today.
Their reports state WWE superstars and employees have been stuck on the plane and it's unclear as to what is causing the delay.

WWE has been working on some backup strategies that would hopefully get some of the talent to Buffalo in time to appear on SmackDown.
A second charter flight has reportedly been put together for top talent that will hopefully get them to the show in time tonight.
According to Dave Meltzer, talent was not allowed to leave on their flight and most are still there. 20 people, 12 of which were talent, have left but the rest are still there.
Fingers crossed fans that paid for tickets to SmackDown tonight see the superstars they were expecting to see.
If top superstars do end up missing the blue brand show tonight, it will likely decrease the likelihood they'll schedule the show the day after a Saudi Arabia show again in the future.
WWE currently has four matches/segments advertised for SmackDown, and as of writing, only one of those matches/segments doesn't involve superstars that were at Crown Jewel.
On SmackDown tonight, Roman Reigns is scheduled to have a match vs King Corbin, and Bray Wyatt will make an appearance on Miz TV.
The Revival will also defend the SmackDown Tag Team titles against The New Day, and Nikki Cross, Carmella, and Dana Brooke will square off against Bayley, Mandy Rose, and Sonya Deville.
WWE could always use the talent that didn't travel to Saudi Arabia as well as Raw talent for SmackDown to still put on a show. Daniel Bryan, Sami Zayn, Drew Gulak, Elias, Matt Hardy, and The Miz did not perform at Crown Jewel.
Taking into account the current situation, it looks like a serious rewrite of the show will be needed.News Now - Sport News
