The sport this weekend is simply unmissable

If you’ve got plans this weekend, cancel them.

No seriously, it’s not too late to pull a sickie or tell people you are no longer available.

The reason being….this weekend of sport is simply unmissable. From Saturday morning through to Sunday evening, there is something for us all!

So, where on earth do we start with telling you what this weekend looks like in terms of sport?

Saturday Morning

Let’s start with Saturday morning.

It’s an early start for us all as England take on South Africa in the Rugby World Cup final, with kick-off at 9am. The final is a repeat of the 2007 clash which saw the Springboks win the tournament, so England will be looking for revenge.

It’s not too early to have your first pint at 9am, is it?

Mid-day Football

Once the World Cup final is over, attention turns back to football as we have a full Premier League schedule. Manchester United get us underway at lunchtime with an away trip to Bournemouth.

Then we have Liverpool, Arsenal, Manchester City and Chelsea all playing throughout the Saturday.

Away from England, there’s also the small matter of Napoli vs AS Roma in Serie A.

Saturday Evening/Sunday Morning

Going into Saturday evening, we have a whole host of events running.

Qualifying for the US Grand Prix gets underway at 9pm, whilst Saul ‘Canelo’ Alvarez takes on Sergey Kovalev in boxing for the WBO light heavyweight title.

Following the Formula One and the boxing, we then have UFC as Nate Diaz and Jorge Masvidal battle it out at UFC 244 for the Bad Mother F****r belt.

We aren’t finished there, however!

Then we go into Sunday and we have more Premier League action as Leicester, Everton and Tottenham all take to the field.

Finally, in Sunday evening to round up a brilliant weekend of sport we have the US Grand Prix with Lewis Hamilton looking to secure his sixth Drivers’ Championship.

So there you go. That is why you need to cancel your plans this weekend!

We’ve got rugby, we’ve got football, we’ve got boxing, we’ve got UFC and we’ve got F1.

Something for everyone!
