Fans of the new 'Call of Duty: Modern Warfare' might be in for a nice surprise after well-known YouTube channel TheGamingRevolution revealed some classic levels may be returning to the game.

In a new leak, it seems like maps such as Crash, Vacant, Rust, Scrapyard and a lot more will soon be coming to the latest of edition of 'CoD'.

If the information turns out to be true, players can look forward to battling in a 1v1 at Rust, fighting in a tight space at Vacant, and entering the chaos at Scrapyard.

'CoD' game developers Infinity Ward have so far struck gold with their highly anticipated reboot of the legendary Modern Warfare series.

The game has reported to have sold $600 million in the US during its launch weekend alone.

Despite TheGamingRevolution being known for reliable 'CoD' leaks in the past, fans shouldn't take this as an absolute just yet.

There is a chance that Infinity Ward's plans will change. However, it is hard not to be convinced with his in-play clip, which can be seen below.

The new release has been met with positive reviews, but has been tainted with political commentary.

This can be seen in the Highway of Death mission, in which Russian militants are seen to be slaughtering civilians. This has parallels with the US-led action against Iraqi forces in 1991 (also known as the Highway of Death).

Nonetheless, millions of fans appear to be enjoying the latest edition of this gaming phenomenon and maybe their wishes will come true, with a return of some old favourites.
