Manchester United suffered a surprise defeat at Bournemouth on Saturday afternoon.

The Red Devils were beaten 1-0 with Josh King's goal on the stroke of half-time enough to resign United to their fourth of the season.

After another loss, manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has now also reached a rather disappointing personal milestone.

He's now suffered defeat in more Premier League matches than Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp.

What makes that statistic even more embarrassing is that Solskjaer has taken charge of 104 fewer games. Unbelievable.

The United manager, who also had a spell at Cardiff City, has now lost 21 Premier League games out of 50.

Klopp, on the other hand, has just 20 defeats in 154 matches.

That certainly won't make good reading for United supporters and coming away from Bournemouth with nothing is the latest of this season's disappointments.

Solskjaer's side have just three wins from their opening 11 league fixtures, with four draws and four defeats.

It's certainly not the kind of form that will see United finish in the top four and play Champions League football next season.

In fact, it's more the kind of form that could land Solskjaer in trouble. Ahead of the Bournemouth game, Gary Neville claimed the Norwegian boss was still just 'one game away from trouble'.

"There has been a mini-revival, but I don’t think Ole will be sat comfortably in his chair," Neville said of United's recent results, per The Sun.

"I think he realises he is one game away from the clouds circling again. Ole is looking up the table rather than look down, so it’s an important game [vs Bournemouth]."

According to Neville, Solskjaer is in trouble again and anything less than a win at home to Partizan in the Europa League on Thursday simply won't be good enough.
