In case you've missed the horde of advertisements, Liverpool host title rivals Manchester City at Anfield this weekend.

The fixture has quickly turned into the Premier League's very own 'El Clasico', with the two sides streets ahead of the competition right now.

However, one thing the two teams are not is unbeatable. While they have dominated the division for the last season and a half, those behind them have inflicted some damage.

City have already lost twice this season, while Liverpool's title challenge in 2018/19 was derailed by draws against Leicester, West Ham and Everton.

But City striker Sergio Aguero seems to have forgotten that his side have been outdone by both Norwich and Wolves this season.

Speaking to France Football about Sunday's big game, the Argentine striker said Liverpool were 'the only team that can hurt us'.

"They [Liverpool] are the only team in the league that can hurt us," Aguero said. "They have been chasing a new league title for years.

“Last season, they didn’t go all the way, so they are very motivated. This year, they are in front of us and will try to go to the end.”

Sorry Sergio, but there are 18 other teams in the league that can hurt City this season, as two already have.

The Argentine then went on to say that the City squad still value the Manchester derby game against United over any match against Liverpool.

“It may be the Clasico for television, but for us, the Clasico, it’s the match against United,’ Aguero added. “Liverpool have always been a tough opponent. But when I arrived, the team we were fighting for the title was United.

“Initially, it was something strange in [Manchester] that City competes against United. Then there was Chelsea. But these last four seasons, Liverpool have become a very strong team and are now fighting with us to win the Premier League."

For the neutral, though, City versus Liverpool is without question the biggest game in the Premier League right now.
