One of the hottest properties in WWE has finally committed his future to the company.Despite teasing the WWE Universe that All Elite Wrestling may be a potential destination in his future, Randy Orton has re-signed with WWE.Earlier in 2019, Fightful reported that Orton wasn't making it a secret backstage that he would be willing to talk to Tony Khan's promotion if the opportunity arose, with his ten-year WWE contract coming to an end next Summer. His teasing continued only a few weeks ago, as he tagged AEW superstars Chris Jericho and Cody Rhodes, as well as soon-to-be out-of-contract WWE wrestlers Luke Harper, Dash Wilder and Scott Dawson in a picture of him next to an 'Elite Level' elevator sign.Orton has turned into one of the biggest social media trolls about, and he pretty much seems to have free reign - not surprising when you're a 13-time world champion.

His future has now been sorted out though, as revealed by Mike Johnson of PW Insider yesterday.

WWE have officially locked Orton in to a new deal which will take him all the way up until the year 2024, when he will be 44 years of age.

The Viper can still go in the ring, and everyone pops when he hits that famous RKO out of nowhere, but you do have to wonder how serious he was about talking to AEW.

Nevertheless, that isn't happening now, and Orton himself reacted to the news on social media after WWE officially broke it on their new 'Backstage' show on Fox Sports 1.

There's no doubting that Orton will now be an even richer man after he's inked this deal, as there's no way that WWE could lose one of the few superstars whose name is synonymous with the brand.

Here's to five more years of the whole roster getting surprise RKO's!
