Call us clinical psychologists, but we think Arsenal fans are rather upset at the moment.

Their midweek trip to Vitoria Guimaraes looked the perfect opportunity to halt their recent struggles, but there was no such reprieve as the Gunners bottled a 1-0 lead in stoppage time.

Having taken the lead through a Shkodran Mustafi header, Bruno Duarte levelled the scores with an acrobatic volley and almost encouraged his teammates to bag a winner.

But simply missing out on victory means that Arsenal have now drawn with Wolverhampton Wanderers, Crystal Palace and lost to Liverpool and Sheffield United in quick succession.

As a result, the Emirates Stadium faithful are quickly losing patience with Unai Emery and not a game goes by without '#EmeryOut' trending across Twitter.

Calls for Emery to leave

Depending on which reports you believe, Emery could have anywhere between one game and one month to save his job and the weekend clash with Leicester City could be absolutely vital.

But if it was the choice of Arsenal fans, the Spaniard would have been sacked weeks ago and some supporters are going to increasing lengths to make that point.

This probably isn't the first instance of football fans making a Change.org petition that you've come across, but trust us when we say this is one of the most serious.

#EmeryOut to go to Parliament?

Simply titled 'Sack Unai Emery', the petition has accumulated 350 signatures at the time of writing and has ambitions to attract far, far more.

That's because one of Salman Fasrudeen's goals is to transfer the petition to the UK Parliamentary website where, if it attracted 100,000 supporters, it would be in contention for an official debate.

"Arsenal fans like me are just sick and tired with Unai Emery and we want him to be sacked," the description reads.

"I'm hoping that the Arsenal fans in UK can create a petition on his website https://petition.parliament.uk so that it can be considered for debate in the Parliament when it reaches 100,000 signatures."

And the petition even makes the bold claim that Arsenal miss Arsene Wenger, begging the unfathomable question: do Gooners want the Frenchman back?

We're not sure many Arsenal fans would support that claim, but the petition still reads: "We miss  Wenger and his philosophy when we played beautiful football and scored amazing goals."

However, we hate to break the heart of Fasrudeen and his fellow Arsenal fans, but we somehow don't see the proposition attracting 100,000 backers and going before Boris Johnson.

Besides, there was a pretty resounding rejection when similar Parliamentary petitions called for Mustafi's contract to be terminated or Wenger, like Emery, to be ousted.

In other words, don't your hopes up too soon Arsenal fans...
