Rodrygo Goes made history on Wednesday evening. In just his second Champions League game and his fourth Real Madrid start, the Brazilian youngster netted a hat-trick against Galatasary. And it was a 'perfect' hat-trick, too.The 18-year-old scored his first in the 4th minute with his left-foot and then bagged his second with his head three minutes later.Rodrygo then bagged his third in stoppage time with his right-foot.

With that three-goal haul, Rodrygo became the second youngest player to score a hat-trick in the Champions League.

Five teenagers have now scored hat-trick's in Europe's elite club competition and they have been listed below.

5. Yakubu - 19 years, 306 days

MACCABI HAIFA vs Olympiakos (September 24, 2002)

The most surprising name on the list is Yakubu.

The Nigerian striker was a decent Premier League striker in his day, playing for the likes of Portsmouth, Middlesbrough and Everton.

But before he graced English football he was tearing it up with Israeli outfit, Maccabi Haifa.

Yakubu scored seven goals in eight games for his side in the 2002/03 Champions League, including three against Olympiacos and one in a 3-0 win over Manchester United.

4. Erling Braut Håland - 19 years, 58 days

RED BULL SALZBURG vs Genk (September 17, 2019)

The Norwegian became the most coveted youngster in world football with his hat-trick against Genk last month.

Haland has continued that form with goals against Napoli and Liverpool.

He's already netted 23 times in 17 games this season. What a talent.

3. Wayne Rooney - 18 years, 339 days

MANCHESTER UNITED vs Fenerbahce (September 28, 2004)

A lot was expected of Rooney, who had just signed for £30 million from Everton.

He made an instant impact with a sensational hat-trick on his debut.

And what a hat-trick it was. He showed composure beyond his years with the first as he coolly slotted home with his left-foot.

He showed great skill for his second as he beat a defender before lashing the ball into the corner from range.

Rooney then completed his hat-trick with a wonderful free-kick.

2. Rodrygo Goes - 18 years, 301 days

REAL MADRID vs Galatasary (November 7, 2019)

Real Madrid haven't had much to shout about in recent times, but one bright spot has been the emergence of Rodrygo.

Signed for €45 million this summer, the Brazilian forward has already scored five goals in six games for Los Blancos.

He has the world at his feet.

1. Raul - 18 years, 114 days

REAL MADRID vs Ferencvaros (October 18, 1995)

Raul's record has stood for an impressive 24 years.

The Spaniard, who made his debut for Los Blancos at 17, tore apart Hungarian side Ferencvaros in 1995.

Real Madrid won 6-1 on the day and the pick of the bunch was their superb team goal, which was converted by Raul.

It will be a tough task, but Rodrygo will be looking to emulate the success that Raul had in Madrid.
