KSI has been inhaling over 2,900 calories per-day in an attempt to add muscle prior to his blockbuster rematch with Logan Paul on Saturday night.

The 26-year-old Brit hired Conor McGregor’s personal chef to cook his meals leading up to the fight in hopes of beefing up to nearer the 14st 4lb weight limit, that Paul is likely to be peaking at.

He has undertaken close to a 12-week camp with sessions beginning at West Ham Boys Club in east London and finishing in Las Vegas and LA.

The Watford-born YouTube sensation has stated that he’s spent over $300k of his own money on his training and other fight preparation expenses.

A substantial chunk of that cash was paid to combat sports superchef Eric Triliegi, while Viddal Riley, the 3-0 cruiserweight recently signed to Floyd Mayweather promotions, has certainly seen his fair share as head trainer.

The average man should consume roughly 2,500 calories-per-day, but KSI, real name Olajide William Olatunji, has maximised his intake of super-foods and protein to boost his performance.

SunSport recently spoke to a member of KSI’s entourage and received the inside scoop on the 26-year-old’s new diet/regime.

“For KSI’s current weight we are keeping his calories at around 2,900 per day. We are feeding him things like grass-fed beef.

“Grass-fed beef contains higher amounts of vitamin B12, B3 and B6, as well as iron, selenium and zinc. It also contains more carotenoids, such as beta-carotene, which our bodies process into vitamin A.

“Grass-fed beef also contains higher amounts of Vitamin E than grain-fed beef does. We have also been feeding him things like micro-greens, fresh ginger, basil, turmeric and fresh pineapple.”

KSI’s opponent Paul caused a stir when he revealed he had been consuming cow blood in a bid to enhance muscle gain.

The 24-year-old LA native has also documented his intensive training regiment in his ‘Countdown to Fight Night’ docuseries with DAZN.

It all goes down on Saturday night at Staples Center in LA and it should be one hell of a fight.
