The wacky world of Tyson Fury continues to get even more mystifying with every passing day.

Not long after delivering on one of his dreams in becoming a WWE superstar, the lineal heavyweight champion of the boxing world now wants to step into MMA.

Fury has claimed that Conor McGregor has offered to train him, and top heavyweight Francis Ngannou has since laid down the gauntlet, claiming that Mike Tyson will train him to face Fury.

The Gypsy King has since accepted the offer - only when he's finished with boxing though, which he says won't be long at all.

His next fight is scheduled to be against Deontay Wilder in February 2020, which is why he's limited his WWE career to a one-match deal for now.

Despite his victory over Braun Strowman at Crown Jewel being a one-off, Fury will be appearing on SmackDown tomorrow night, as it emanates from his home city of Manchester, England.

His appearance won't result in an immediate match down the line against anyone, however he's already set his sights on a big, big star in the future, should he return to the squared circle.

“Hopefully you see me in the ring again and I want to fight Brock Lesnar next," Fury told Corey Graves this week on WWE's After The Bell podcast.

"One clip from the Gypsy King and Lesnar will wake up in Tokyo.

Who knows, it might happen at WrestleMania in Florida.

That would be some spectacle - Fury versus Lesnar in a battle for the ages in Tampa.

Theoretically if that were to happen, then Brock may have to lose the WWE Championship before then, as it would be absurd for Fury to challenge for the world title.

WrestleMania in 2020 comes just over a month after Fury's pencilled in to face Wilder in the long-awaited rematch, so there's every chance he could make a return.

No doubt a match with Lesnar is money waiting to happen, but would WWE fans accept it? Very unlikely...
