There was only going to be one result…carnage.

In the early exchanges, Carragher dominates the play, almost scoring a scooped effort only for Neville to tip it over the bar.

Carragher then strikes the post moments later during an early siege on Neville’s goal.

The hilarious game continues, with the pair taking every opportunity to knock into each other.

Then the magic moment arrives.

Neville smashes into Carragher, sending the former Liverpool man flying, before chipping the ball over him expertly into the far corner.

The ex-Manchester United right back seems as surprised as anyone, raising one arm aloft Shearer-esque, as he races away screaming in celebration.

This kind of reaction to finding the back of the net is probably to be expected from a guy who only scored five times in 400 Manchester United games.

There is no way that Carragher will take this lying down, so don’t be surprised to see a zorb football rematch in the coming weeks.
