Chelsea's Captain America is well and truly starting to deliver.

Christian Pulisic arrived from Borussia Dortmund in the summer with a £60m price tag hanging over his head and his season didn't get off to the best possible start.

He was ousted from the team by Frank Lampard after some sub-par displays and the Blues boss sent him a clear message - you need to work harder.

But Lampard's man-management appears to have done the trick, because Pulisic is now one of the most in-form wingers in world football.

The American scored his fifth goal of the Premier League season today at home to Crystal Palace, meaning he has scored five in his last three games.

Impressive stuff, especially when you factor in that he has also recorded five assists in all competitions this season.

His stats look even more impressive when you compared them to Chelsea legend Eden Hazard, who is finding the going tough at Real Madrid.

PULISIC vs HAZARD

Pulisic (all competitions) - 14 games, 5 goals, 5 assists

Hazard (all competitions) - 10 games, 1 goal, 2 assists

The stats do not lie!

Pulisic shares a lot of similarities with Hazard in the way he plays and right now, he is making Chelsea fans forget about the Belgian's exit very, very quickly.

The 21-year-old is lightning quick, is impossible to tackle in the box and is clinical with his finishing.

What is more, Pulisic is a total workhorse and was regularly seen tracking back to support Emerson Palmieri against Palace today.

Alongside Mason Mount, Callum Hudson-Odoi, Tammy Abraham and the soon-to-return Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Chelsea have a young forward line that can dominate English football for a long time.

Eden, who?
