KSI has won the battle of the YouTuber stars after defeating Logan Paul in their rematch in Los Angeles.

The Brit, real name Olajide Olatunji, earned a split decision win in a controversial six-round bout, which followed their draw in Manchester last year.

Paul dropped KSI to the canvas in the fourth round but was deducted two points for punching Olatunji while he was down.

‘The Maverick’ was furious with the decision, which ended up costing him the fight.

Two of the three judges scored the fight in KSI’s favour but Lou Moret’s score of 56-55 to KSI would have looked different had Paul not been penalised two points.

“I got two points taken away from me and that’s the reason I lost tonight,” the American later lamented.

Unhappy with the outcome, Paul vowed to contest the points deduction.

"I’d love to fight KSI again - these are the best moments of my life,” he added. “The more I practise in the box the more I feel comfortable.

You’ll definitely see me in the ring again. But I am going to the commission about the decision.

Judges scorecards

Judge Patrick Russell scored it 57-54 to KSI while Zachary Young had it 56-55 to Paul.

The two-point deduction didn’t have an impact on either judges’ card but Moret would have favoured Paul if it hadn’t been applied.

So the illegal punch on KSI ended up costing Paul dearly.

He landed a flush uppercut to rock KSI but continued to hold and hit his opponent as he was falling to the floor.

Paul’s lack of knowledge of boxing rules was evident.

“I let emotions get the best of me,” the American entertainer added.
