Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool look well on course to secure their first ever Premier League title. After beating Manchester City 3-1 yesterday at Anfield, the Reds are now eight points clear at the top of the table after winning 10 of their first 11 games.Klopp's influence over the team is as clear as it has ever been, with Liverpool a tireless footballing machine that is showing no signs of stopping - or even taking the smallest of breathers. The German's charisma is infectious, but even he is not a man to perform one of his trademark fist pumps on command after one of the biggest wins of his career. While he was trying to show his appreciation to the Liverpool fans, Klopp was asked by a Sky cameraman to do some fist pumps.

The Liverpool boss refused and he then told the cameraman: "Not while you're here, I'm not a clown."

Fair play, Jurgen.

They need to understand that, while the German is indeed a passionate celebrator, he is not a performing monkey.

Klopp's traditional celebration after a win at Anfield is to run over to The Kop and beat his chest, but he clearly doesn't want to be perceived as a man who plays up to the cameras.

The Liverpool boss also remained dignified in his post-match press conference, stating that it is far too early to label the Reds as champions in waiting.

Klopp said, per Mirror: "Today we were completely focused on this game and not the situation in the table and how many points we are ahead of City. That's crazy.

"Nine points ahead of City - you cannot imagine that something like this would happen.

"But it's not important because who wants to be first in November? You want to be first in May. It's only November.

"The pressure is not there yet. It will come, but at the moment it's just opportunity and go for it and do the work, throw in all you have and let's see what happens.

"We don't feel any pressure, to be 100% honest. Nine points is a positive but there's a long way to go.

"People will 100% say, and have said already, that from now on Liverpool can only lose it. That's a very negative approach but we don't care, I can promise you that we don't care."
