Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has only been Arsenal captain for six days, but he's already caused a bit of a stir.

According to reports from The Athletic, the Gabonese striker is raising eyebrows behind-the-scenes at the club due to his friendship with ArsenalFanTV regular, Troopz.

Aubameyang has now been told by the Gunners to stop inviting Troopz to his executive box at the Emirates - which is reserved for friends and family on matchdays.

The captain's social media activity has also come under scrutiny, as he's recently liked Instagram posts that criticise Emery and call for the sale of Granit Xhaka.

Those actions have reportedly left staff and fellow teammates 'unimpressed'.

But Aubameyang's latest post might be his most worrying yet. The 30-year-old has clearly seen reports about his friendship with Troopz and he's decided to hit back.

"I just arrived in Gabon and heared a lot of bulls***," he posted on his Instagram story.

"I talk with who I want and if somebody's not happy with... you already know," he wrote, followed by the middle finger emoji. Check out a screenshot below:

Talk about silencing the critics...

ANALYSIS
GIVEMESPORT'S Ollie Browning says:

Arsenal are a mess right now. They've been struggling on the pitch and had a disappointing week.

After drawing with Vitoria in the Europa League, the Gunners then suffered a 2-0 defeat against Leicester in the Premier League

That means Unai Emery's side are struggling in sixth place, eight points behind the Champions League spots - nowhere near where fans expected them to be.

But, are Arsenal's troubles on the pitch down to what's happening off of it?

The Xhaka situation was a huge distraction and making Aubameyang captain was supposed to set the club back on the right track.

Yet, it seems he'll come with a bit of controversy too. That's certainly not what Emery needs right now, given how close he could be to the sack.
