Although it’s still early in the season, it now feels like the Premier League title is Liverpool’s to lose following their 3-1 victory over Manchester City on Sunday evening.

The Reds opened up a nine-point gap between themselves and City, who sit in fourth spot, at the top of the table.

Leicester and Chelsea, meanwhile, are both eight points behind Jurgen Klopp’s side in second and third place, respectively.

Goals from Fabinho, Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane earned Liverpool all three points. Bernardo Silva netted City’s consolation goal, 12 minutes before full-time.

Liverpool are now 2/5 favourites to win the title at the time of writing. City, on the other hand, have drifted out to 9/4 with the bookmakers.

Reds across the world are still buzzing with the result, and many of them would have been looking forward to the next instalment of ‘Inside Anfield’.

LFCTV have made ‘Inside Anfield’ essential viewing for Liverpool fans and the quality of the videos, which features unseen footage from before, during and after home games, is always excellent.

The latest episode is no different, featuring new angles of all the goals and some other golden moments you wouldn’t otherwise have seen.

Liverpool fans will particularly enjoy Mane’s passionate celebration as he made his way to the tunnel at full-time (12.48 in the video).

The most touching scenes, however, involved Sean Cox, the Liverpool fan who was left with serious brain injuries after being attacked by AS Roma fans before a Champions League clash during the 2017/18 season.

Cox, who underwent 18 months of treatment in the Republic of Ireland after the attack before moving to a specialist neurological facility in Sheffield for a 12-week rehabilitation programme, was attending his first match at Anfield since the incident.

Trent Alexander-Arnold, Joe Gomez and Jordan Henderson all warmly embraced the 54-year-old, whose wife Martina was filmed by LFCTV speaking to the crowd at half-time.

Salah was also seen in conversation with Cox shortly before the video ends.

The Reds will now be hoping to keep the momentum going when they travel to Crystal Palace after the international break.
