Nate Diaz has paid back a fan who lost all his rent money betting on him against Jorge Masvidal at UFC 224.

The two fighters met in Madison Square Garden, New York City with Masvidal earning the win after the fight was called off by the doctor due to two cuts on Diaz's face.

In the aftermath of the bout, one fan replied to the Stockton Slugger's Instagram post stating that he had lost a significant amount of money on the fight.

Instagram user @unknownkillers213 wrote: "Nate I lost my rent money betting on you now I'm sleeping in my car till I come up with my half."

Diaz the replied: "Don't trip I got ur b**chass."

What a guy!

@unknownkillers213 has also provided an update to prove that Diaz fulfilled his promise.

The Instagram user wrote: "Update for everyone asking me, Yes Nate actually helped me out Nate is the true OG BMF he sent me more money than what I lost on my bet and I'm using it to buy from his cbd company "Game Up"

"Nate is a really cool guy when I made that post I didn't think twice about it I didn't even think he would see it and I even let him know that I wasn't really sleeping in my car it was more of a joke but it was awesome the way he responded and the fact that he refunded me and gave me some extra cash just goes to show he is a man of the people !!!"

Well played, Nate!

Diaz has confused UFC fans in recent days after he appeared to confirm his retirement after his loss to Masvidal in the Big Apple.

However, speaking to ESPN recently, the 34-year-old said: "Who said I was retired? I'll fight tonight.

"I'll fight forever. I'm never going to retire, that's for sure."

Interesting....
