Erling Haaland loves the Champions League so much that he uses the competition's famous anthem as his morning alarm.

The RB Salzburg striker is one of Europe's hottest prospects, having scored an incredible 27 goals in 18 matches so far this season.

Seven of those have come in the Champions League and the 19-year-old is top scorer after four group games.

Speaking of the competition, Haaland revealed to Norwegian outlet TV2: "[The Champions League anthem] is my alarm tone.

"I wake up to it every day - it's the last song I'm tired of. I always get a perfect start to the day."

Brilliant. But that's not the youngster's only quirk.

Haaland has hit an incredible five hat-tricks already over the course of this campaign and he also revealed that he sleeps with all his match balls.

"I have five hat-trick balls in my bed and I sleep well with them. They are my girlfriends."

If he carries on scoring for fun, the Norwegian will need to find somewhere else to keep his match balls. Otherwise, he won't have space to sleep in his own bed!

ANALYSIS
GIVEMESPORT'S Ollie Browning says:

Haaland is arguably the most exciting teenager in world football. He's easily outscoring all of Europe's other 'wonder kids' and is even in the running for the 2019/20 Golden Shoe.

The Salzburg striker is behind only Robert Lewandowski and Ciro Immobile on that list.

Haaland is on course for the Golden Shoe

Given how impressive his start to the season has been, it seems inevitable that a big club will try and take Haaland away from the Austrian Bundesliga soon.

Barcelona, Manchester United and Arsenal are all rumoured to be interested, with Salsburg setting his fee at £85 million.

If the striker continues his fine form, we can expect at least one of Europe's top clubs to pay that price next summer.
