Marcus Rashford's Manchester United academy report card from 2007 has gone viral.

The striker was playing for the under-11s team when he filled in a number of answers on the card.

His report is dated September 2007 - eight-and-a-half years before his debut in 2016. On it, Rashford wrote that his favourite positions were 'right wing and up front'.

The next question asked 'what are my strengths' to which he answered: 'My strengths are my pace and skill'.

When asked what he needed to improve, Rashford wrote 'I need to improve on my left foot' and he followed that answer with 'I can improve by practising every day'.

The last question is 'who do I think is the best U11's player' to which the United striker answered 'DEV because he's got everything a great player needs'.

Very interesting stuff.

Although it's unclear who 'Dev' is, supporters are suggesting that Rashford was referring to Devonte Redmond, a 23-year-old midfielder who now plays for Wrexham in the National League.

If it really is Redmond that he picked as the best player, then it's a shame his career never took off.

Despite signing a pro contract in 2017, he didn't make an appearance for United and was sent on loan to Scunthorpe.

After a short spell at Salford City, the midfielder moved on to Wrexham.

Although Redmond's career is yet to get going, Rashford's certainly has.

He will likely feature for England in Thursday's Euro 2020 qualifier against Montenegro at Wembley, and perhaps against Kosovo on Sunday night too.

After that, the 22-year-old will return to United, where he will lead the line for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side as we approach the heavy festive fixture list.

We bet even a 10-year-old Rashford didn't think he'd really be doing that just 12 years after writing his report card.
